Gregory’s Grapefruit Mimosa

Recipes

Looking for a refreshing and delicious drink to serve at your next brunch or special occasion? Look no further than this Grapefruit Mimosa recipe!

This cocktail is a twist on the classic Mimosa, which typically combines orange juice and champagne. However, by using grapefruit juice instead, you get a tangy and slightly bitter flavor that perfectly balances the sweetness of the champagne.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 1 bottle of your favorite Champagne or Prosecco
  • 2 cups of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, chilled
  • 1/4 cup of orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • Grapefruit slices for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a pitcher, combine the grapefruit juice and orange liqueur. Stir well & store in fridge.
  2. When ready to serve, fill champagne flutes about halfway with the grapefruit mixture.
  3. Top each glass with champagne, filling almost to the rim.
  4. Garnish each glass with a slice of grapefruit or rind twist.

Serve and enjoy!

This Grapefruit Mimosa is a bright and flavorful drink that is perfect for any occasion. The tangy grapefruit juice pairs perfectly with the bubbly champagne, making for a refreshing and easy-to-drink cocktail that will leave your guests wanting more.
